Explore the regenerative native bush, following the flapping wing of a fantail; observe the colourful native pigeons and blue kingfisher feasting unperturbed by human presence; be surprised by the sudden take-off of pheasants or the rustling of a family of quail crossing the track in front of you. Hear the sound of the morepork and the high pitch of weka and, if you are quiet enough, at night you may hear the Kiwi too!
Follow the sound of the waves, walk the easy 40-meter track down to the pristine Pacific Ocean and let the charm of Waitata Bay embrace you. Meet other naturists on the beach if you choose, play bocce, have a swim, snorkel around the rocks, kayak to the point or even to Roberton Island if you are fit enough, or just lie on the sand and wait for the sun to roll behind the hills.
Should you wish to practise yoga, tai-chin or pilate, regular classes are held in the village. Private tuitions can be arrange in the farm.
